Clean low-carb. The philosophy is generally compatible with keto, Atkins, paleo, proper human diet, carnivore, Mediterranean, MIND. Prioritize eating protein and natural fat, limit eating carbohydrates in general and processed carbohydrates in particular. No seed oil. Avoid additives whenever possible.

Personally, I strive to run on ketones for my brain health. To accomplish this, I limit carbs.
I lean heavily on keto cooking! That said, there are oodles of "keto-friendly" UPFs on store shelves that I would not touch, and keto recipes calling for seed-oil based mayonnaise. And so I call my flavor "Clean Low-Carb."
My core philosophies: nutrition first, prioritize protein & natural fat, avoid ultra-processed foods.
I am not a fan of the vegetarian diet.
It’s possible to eat clean low-carb on a plant-based diet — and anyone coming from the Standard American Diet will benefit just by cutting ultra-processed foods and refined carbs. But getting adequate nutrition from plants alone can be challenging, especially when it comes to protein and essential fats.
The simplest, most sustainable way to thrive on a clean low-carb lifestyle is through animal-based foods — eggs, meat, fish, and dairy — which provide complete nutrition without the guesswork.
And I like easy. I also like meat.
