Most people don’t realize their food is causing their pain. I teach how to improve health simply by eating real food. Why not try it?

Historic Turnabout:
The New U.S. Dietary Guidelines
The new U.S. Dietary Guidelines for Americans are out, and they are meaningful.
Are they perfect? Nah, but they lean hard into what we’ve been preaching for years: eat real, whole, unprocessed food.
🥩 What just changed
The U.S. government flipped its own food pyramid.
What's on top? Can you guess? Have you heard?
It is real food.
The new 2025–2030 Dietary Guideline pyramid leads with: Meat. Dairy. Vegetables.
Not cereal. Not bread. Not “heart healthy” grains.
Grains were demoted to the very bottom.
The slogan? Eat Real Food.
Be still my heart!
Real, whole, recognizable food is now the headline.
✅ How This Aligns with Clean Low-Carb Principles
These guidelines finally say out loud what our bodies have been telling us for decades now: the Standard American Diet does not work.
Now, finally!, the government is advising Americans to build meals around protein from meat, eggs, fish, and dairy. Protein targets are higher than before, specifically to protect muscle, energy, and aging bodies.
Vegetables, fruits, nuts are included as well.
The emphasis is on whole, natural, unprocessed food.
Sugar and processed foods are explicitly discouraged.
That matches what we teach here every week.
🗸 Eat food that looks like food.
🗸 Build meals around protein.
🗸 Let packaged products fall away.
👉 Room for Improvement
They did something new and something old at the same time.
They put natural fats like butter and tallow back on the table.
Then they kept the old rule that saturated fat should stay under about 10 percent of calories.
That number is not coming from science.
It is coming from decades of nutrition politics.
We will talk about that.
For today, the bigger story matters more:
The government just admitted that real food belongs at the center of the plate.
That is not a small change.
🧠 Brain Connection
Your brain runs on two things better than anything else: Protein & Natural Fat.
Not sugar. Not flour. Not cereal.
Refined carbs wreak havoc on our bides and brains.
Stable blood sugar supports stable thinking.
The national food guidelines finally put meat and dairy at the top of the chart.
This is huge!
